I have many guilty pleasures in life.
I love fountain pens and notebooks I never write in. I love organising the cables on my sit/stand desk and the clack of the mechanical keyboards I build.
But my most guilty pleasure is photographing weddings.
Guilty because I love to indulge in the technical and creative aspects of photography, but mostly because I love witnessing other people’s joy.
Like when the guests see each other for the first time in years, or when the parents are gushing with pride. Weddings are rare events that bring people together for just a brief moment, and time and time again I am honoured to be present at them.
